He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgie Yager and Martha Yager (Heckley); and his siblings, Charles Yager, Paul Yager and Patricia "Patty" Brandyberry.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn DeBolt; his children, Beverly Grzych (Tom) of Ossian, Tracy McBride (Brian) of Greensburg and Philip Yager (Teresa) of Uniondale; his grandchildren, Nicolas Grzych (Erin), Cale Grzych (Kaley), Carmen Grubb (Trevor), Cory Yager (Ashton), Olivia Jackson (Jordy) and Quentin McBride; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Emery Grzych, Jaycie, Jordyn, Jemma Grzych, Falynn, Bristol Grubb, Jaxon, Maddox Yager, Xander Pearson and Beckham Jackson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harnish Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN 46714). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
