She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Brown and Cordelia Burks Brown; her husband Jesse "Mike" James; and her siblings, Everett Brown, Eldridge Brown, Hubert Brown, Cordell Brown, Clebert Brown, Evins Brown and Maggie Cantrell.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Jonas (Maxine) and Raymond Jonas (Cindy); her stepdaughter Joyce Hanselman (Bob); and her grandchildren, Whitney Hanselman, Joseph White, Seth Jonas, Zachary Hicks and Dakoda Jonas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
