It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Dale Ellis of Otterbein, Indiana, born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William Ellis and Betty June Ellis (Kunkle); his sister Melinda Kramer Richard Ellis; and his pet Rusty. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Greer; his children, Tammy Ellis (Spalding) of Otterbein, John Ellis Jr. of Iowa, Bryce Ellis of Florida and Nathan Ellis of Oklahoma; his granddaughter Ashley Carillo (Chris) of Frankfort; and his siblings, Bill Ellis of Virginia and Melody Ellis of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also survived by 3 other grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at the New Richmond Cemetery.
