She was predeceased by: her grandson Jason Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband John Leroy Peters; her children, Tammy Sanders, Rebecca Jones (Bill), John Peters II and Mike Peters; and her grandchildren, Dustin Hudson (Morgan), Adam Hudson (Sarah), Brittany Sanders, Jennifer Wetli (Russ), Jessica Hollingsworth (Cory), Ashley Boss (Shannon), Caleb Peters (Courtney), Joshua Whitaker (Macey), Justin Whitaker (Paige), Joey Whitaker and Kaylee Whitaker. She is also survived by Numerous Great-Grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Armstrong Chapel Cemetery.
