We announce the death of Dorothy E Traylor of Otwell, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Andrew and Hilda Margarethea Weisheit (Sendelweck); her son Dale Thomas Traylor; her siblings, Leroy, James Weisheit and Janice E. Otto; and her great grandchild Trenton Leighty.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Traylor of Otwell; and her daughters, Connie Reed (Stanley) of Otwell and Sherry Minkis of Indianapolis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nass & Son Funeral Home (208 Main St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Otwell Community Center.
