We are sad to announce that, on July 25, 2025, at the age of 83, Barbara Jean Sensmeier of Owensville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Barth and Genevieve Barth (DeMoss); her husband Alan Sensmeier; and her brother-in-law Larry Bell. She is survived by: her children, Jay Sensmeier (Jill) of Owensville, IN and Rebecca Carter of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Nancy Bell of Albuquerque, NM and Ben Barth (Mika) of Evansville, IN; her brother-in-law Bob Meyerholtz of Evansville, IN; and her grandchildren, Amanda Wallace (Darrell), Ryan Carter (Amy), Bradley Carter, Jason Carter, Kristin Wurtenberger (Brian), Rachel Sensmeier, Megan Lamey (Cory) and Allie Sensmeier. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice.
