It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura E. Smith-Shain of Owensville, Indiana, born in Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Smith and Kathleen Smith (Benson). She is survived by : her husband Jim "Arlo" Shain; her children, Alex Shain (Anna) and Olivia Shain (Mark Brauer); and her siblings, Devin Smith, Courtnee Winternheimer (Mark), George Smith (Crystal) and Schuyler Smith (Susan).
