He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spindler and Rosa Spindler (Pohl); his wife Rosalie Spindler; his siblings, Ferdinand, Leonard, Edward, Raymond, Frank, Albert, Sister Rosella, Loretta Schmitt and Pauline; his son Kevin Spindler; his daughters-in-law, Barbara and Lynn Spindler; and his great grandchildren, Mathew and Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Spindler (Tamara) of Haubstadt, Jeff Spindler of Haubstadt, Eric Spindler (Gayle) of Haubstadt, Terry Spindler (Robyn) of Haubstadt, Lisa Kern (John) of Owensville, Elaine Goebel (Bernie) of Poseyville, Mark Spindler (Vicki) of Owensville, Stan Spindler of Haubstadt and Jason Spindler of Haubstadt; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Amanda, Jordyn, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Logan, Ryan, Olivia, Delaney, Zachary, Cameron, Mitchell, Emma, Johnathon, Jacob, Ethan, Alex, Claire, Molly, Collin, Lilly and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Eli, Jackson, Remi, Raegan, Payton, Rose, Landon, Gracie, Colton, Audrey, Reid, Callie, Dominic, Myleigh, Philip, Samuel, Lucy, Kenzie, Lexie, Lucas, Sebastian, Levi, Carly and Benjamin. He is also survived by his 9 children, 22 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
