William Franklin Ping Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Franklin Ping of Owensville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Ping and Renda Ping (Hall); his wife Mary Beth Barry; his children, Scott Ping and Bonita John; and his brothers, James, Fred and Charles Ping.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Ping (Lisa) of Owensville, Beth Spielman (Joel) of Davis, IL, Susan Raney of Owensville and Carla Braselton of Owensville; his adoptive daughter Maria Dumas of Haiti; his brother Lyle Eugene Ping of Eldorado, IL; and his children-in-law, Patty Wright of Owensville and Kelly John of Gulf Shores, AL. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
