We announce the death of Carlene Nevil of Palmyra, Indiana, who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 72. Carlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Harvey and Ethel Harvey (Trent); her husband Douglas Nevil Sr.; her daughter Cheryl Lee Nevil; and her siblings, Brenda Avery, Lisa Marie Tate, Diane Crawford, Debbie Singleton, Barbara Singleton, Carl Harvey and Rickey Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Nevil Jr. (Joanna), Josh Nevil (Paula), Rhonda Tussey (Bubba) and Rebeka Gilley (Dana); her daughter-in-law Amanda Draper; her sister Missy McGee; and her grandchildren, Jenna Nevil, Shelby Turben, Chancy Funk, Dustin Nevil, Skylyn Howell, Austin Nevil, Megan Robson, Shiann Stone, Amber Rosado, Madison McCorkle, Brianna Nevil, Chelsey Arnold, Kyle Nevil, Michael Arnold and Aaron Nevil. She is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
