Dora Lone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dora Lone of Palmyra, Indiana, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Sizemore and Flora Sizemore; her husband Earl Lone; her daughter Donna Powers; and her brothers, Tom Sizemore, Denver Sizemore and Lester Sizemore.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Lone and James Lone; and her siblings, Bobby Sizemore (Elaine), James Sizemore (Carol), Louella Collett (Clifford), Polly Warren and Helen Lockman (Chuck). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home (14345 Greene St NE, Palmyra, IN 47164). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
