He is survived by: his mother Judith Burch (Usry); his children, Jeremy VanGilder (Kharmen Riveiro), Emily VanGilder (Jordan) and Lynnsey Jones (Issac); his grandchildren, Krayden VanGilder, Pierson Ferguson, Gracelynn Honshell, Jax Honshell, Benjamin Jones, Ender Riveiro-VanGilder, Willow Riveiro-VanGilder and Honey Jones; his sister Cindy VanGilder; and his former wife Angie VanGilder.
