She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Effie Pearl Smith of Louisville, Kentucky.; her husband Gene Ward; and her granddaughter Beth McFarland. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Ward (Susan) of Crestwood, Kentucky, Glen Ward (Rita) of Georgetown, Indiana, Greg Ward (Polly) of New Albany, Indiana and Saundra Bottom (Bill) of Palmyra, Indiana.; her grandsons, Phillip, Matthew, Samuel, Daniel, Dylan Ward and James Wilson; her great grandchildren, Courtney Chi, Kamren Ward, Landon Ward and Hannah Ward; her great great grandchild Scarlet; her sister Shirley Myers of Louisville, Kentucky; and her sister-in-law Mercedes Ward of Owensboro, Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
