He is survived by: his wife Hattie Matherly (Sizemore); his sons, Andrew Matherly and Aaron Matherly; his siblings, Donnie Matherly, Gale Matherly, Lyman Matherly, Jr. and Cheryl Kidder; and his granddaughters, Datura Matherly and Gracie Ryan.
