He is survived by: his mother Betty Folden (Bryant); his wife Janet Folden (Floyd); his children, Jennifer Haynes (Mike), Kelly Matlock (John) and Richard Folden III (Brooke); his stepchildren, Chad Webb (Tanya), Christy Byrum and Terra Barton (Brant); his sister Kathy Childers (Jim); his grandchildren, Sydney Walls (Isaiah), Bailey Haynes, Jesse Haynes, Grant Folden and Asher Folden; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Walls, Ezra Walls and Seth Walls. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home (14345 Greene St NE, Palmyra, IN 47164). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Portland Christian School in Louisville, Kentucky.
