He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dayton and Alice Oakley (Lamb); and his wife Pamela King. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Rusch (Andrew) of Bedford, IN.; his sister Leisa Oakley of Orleans, IN.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Charlotte, Cecilia and Mark Rusch; and his friend Church.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home (226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at the Stampers Creek Cemetery (31 N Co Rd 350 E, Paoli, IN 47454).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Lick Creek Friends Church in Paoli.
