As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ellen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall L. Manship and Elsie Ellen Manship (Murphy); and her husband Billy Joe Laws. She is survived by: her children, Esther Elaine Laws of Charlestown and Jay Laws; her siblings, Brian Manship (Sue) of Milltown and Rhonda Carchano of Lexington, KY; and her siblings' children, Ashley Carchano, Ellen Byrd and Stevie Brown.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McAdams Mortuary (500 SW 1st St, Paoli, IN 47454). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
