We are sad to announce that, on May 21, 2026, at the age of 86, Emma Janette Edmiston of Paoli, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Emma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Wells and LaRue Wells of Paoli, IN.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Taylor (Michael) of Shoals, IN and Debra Hunt-Kerr (David) of Memphis, IN.; and her grandchildren, Laura King (Mark) of English, IN, Carrie Tedrow (Chris) of Holland, IN, Christi Crecelius (Halee) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Aaron Meriwether (Whitney) of Plainfield, IN, Andrew Meriwether (Jessica) of Ellettsville, IN and Brooklyn Hunt of Sellersburg, IN. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
