He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "James" Jones and Golda Mae Slayton Jones; and his siblings, Joseph Lawrence Jones and Virginia Ruth Jones Wright. He is survived by: his son James Darrin "Jimmie D" Jones; his wife Julia; his daughter Haylee James Jones; and also Caroline Sue Cox. He is also survived by nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home (226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Paoli Masonic Lodge #119. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home (226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454).
