It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Hunter of Paoli, Indiana, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifford and Louise A. Hunter (Edwards); his wife Mary Lou Hunter (Chism); his son Johnny L. Duggan; and his brother Clifford Eugene Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Hunter (Cindy), Jimmy Duggan (Sheila), Tina Rake (Charles), Robin McCormick (Kurt), Paul Hunter (Rebecca), Katie Cundiff (Mike), Joe Duggan and Jamie Hunter (Kathy); his grandchildren, Natalie Duggan, Justin Rake, Natasha Hunt, Ryan Hunter, Jenny Gaylord, Ashley Byerly, Stephen Jackson, Trisha Beninato, Kurt McCormick Jr., Heather Hartwick, Paul Hunter Jr., Catalya Hunter, Michael Cundiff Jr., Jacob Cundiff, Nicholas Cundiff, Mackenzie Duggan, Keria Duggan, Mary Nielsen and James Nielsen; and his sisters, MaryAnn Weidner (George) and Norma Sue Taylor. He is also survived by 25 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Denbo Funeral Home (628 IN-64, English, IN 47118). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Gentiva Hospice in memory of John Hunter.
