It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Bosley McGiveney of Paoli, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hoffmann and Amanda Hoffmann (Himsel); her former husband William S. Bosley II (Bill); her husband Paul McGiveney; her daughter Kim Moon; her great grandchildren, Tobias Kell and Ophelia Dittmer; her siblings, Dorie Roberts (Howard), Al-Fred Hoffmann, Richard Hoffmann and Karl Hoffman (Becky); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Ragsdale (Leroy) and Philip Bosley.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Dooley (Larry) of English, Sandra Barrett (Clifford) of Princeton, Connie Raver (Steve) of Plainfield, Willie Bosley (Jackie) of Paoli and Scott Bosley (Jamie) of Aiken, SC; her son-in-law Jake Moon of Aiken, SC.; her stepchildren, Robert McGiveney (Renee) of Louisville, Kip McGiveney of Louisville, Diane Hardesty (Jim) of Louisville and Monica Noble (Bobby) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Tara Dooley, Lori Miller (Larry), Rachael Craft (Brian), Rebecca Dooley, Bridget Kell (Danny), Mandy Holmes (Tim), Tyler Barrett (Bailey), Mary Raver, Adam Raver (Katy), Nancy Miles (Eric), Tony Brindley (Jake), Andrea Bosley, Megan Bosley, Jenna Bosley, Maggie Bosley (Victoria), Macey Kurtz (Jared) and William Bosley; her great grandchildren, Jayda Smith, Eleanor Margaret Dittmer, Katelynn, Cullen Driver, Zach, Reed, Tinley Miller, Burke Boggs, Jackson, Owen, Hudson Kell, Elise Barrett, Maddie, Michael, Morgan Miles, Peyton and James Raver; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Hoffmann and Madge Bosley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paoli United Methodist Church (794 IN-56, Paoli, IN 47454). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paoli United Methodist Church.
