He is survived by: his wife Martha Wells; his siblings, Virgil Fields and Grace Payton; his sons, Rick Fields, Danny Fields, Dickie Wellman and Bryan Wellman; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Curtsinger. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
