He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wigal and Cora Wigal (Warthen); and his siblings, Arthur, James, Dennis Wigal, Violet Stevenson, Lucille Carroll, Virginia Carmichael and Helen Austin.

He is survived by: his children, Jonathon Wayne Wigal (Amy) of Gosport, Carl Eugene Wigal of Paragon, Lisa Jane Dickey of Indianapolis and Pamela Sue Thomas (Jeff) of Gosport, Indiana; his sister Bertha Bryant of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Crystal Thomas, Shanell Humphrey (Jacob), Kaitlyn Vehling (Jered), Cheyenne Wigal (Kyle Cherry) and Destanie Dickey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
