It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Leroy Harris of Paragon, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Brown and Clara Stella Harris (Walls); and his brother Ronnie Harris. He is survived by : his wife Marchie Lou Harris (Walk) of Paragon; his children, Preston Harris of Heltonville, Bryan Harris (Stephanie) of Ellettsville, Indiana, Balinda League (Rodger) of Switz City, Diana Trenta of Bloomington and Loretta Lagenour (Tom) of Greene County, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Lora Brown of Martinsville, Angela Brown and Cheryl Brown of New Albany, Indiana; and his siblings, Paul Harris (Janice) of Bloomington, Joyce Dittemore and Connie Taylor (Jim) of Bloomington, Indiana. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three step grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren.
