It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Carter of Paris Crossing, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mullins and Ethel Mullins (Peyton); her grandson Lige Fletter; and her siblings-in-law, Clyde Hensley and Debbie Mullins.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Carter; her children, Amy Carter (Eric) of Chicago and Brent Carter (Megan) of Glen Ellyn; her siblings, Peyton Mullins (Diane) of Columbus, Donald Mullins of Paris Crossing, Indiana and Ann Hensley of Paris Crossing, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Audrey Carter, Chloe Carter, Owen Carter and Max Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Christine's name to First Marion Baptist Church in Commiskey, Indiana in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
