He was predeceased by: his mother Harriet Frye (Martindale); his stepmother Marjorie Frye (Sullivan); his son Joseph Frye; and his stepsiblings, Charles Eugene "Gene" Hendricks, Evalena Wratten and Mamie Elnora Larson.
He is survived by: his father Virgil Frye; his wife Mary L. Frye (Koelling); his children, Emma Marie Frye, Tim Frye and Julie Wirth-Evans (Terry Smith); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Frye, Jacob Evans (Brandy) and Kilee Evans. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery (1925 Volkman Rd, Evansville, IN 47725).
