He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hobson and Lorue Jean Hobson (Stewart); and his siblings, Linda Jean Hobson and Roger D. Hobson. He is survived by: his brothers, Kerry Hobson (Regina) of Pekin, IN, Jody Hobson of Salem, IN, Russell Hobson (Melissa) of Pekin, IN, Darrell Hobson (Chuck Candiano) of Valparaiso, IN and Phillip Hobson (Duane Draper) of Dallas, Texas; his sister-in-law Judy Hobson of Columbus, IN; and his fiancée Cathy Beams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dawalt Funeral Home (204 E Market St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
