He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Goodwin and Gewinelle Goodwin (Camp); and his former wife Janet S. Goodwin (Bryant). He is survived by: his children, Jerry Goodwin II (Anna) of Jeffersonville and Stephanie Scott of Salem, Indiana; his grandchildren, Logan Goodwin (Katie Winters), Craigen Goodwin (Kassidy) of Wichita Falls, Texas, Shelby Niehaus (Tyler) of Salem, Indiana, Kelsey Goodwin of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Devin Bagshaw of Mitchell, Indiana and Jaxson Scott of Salem, Indiana; and his stepsons, Omer Bobo Jr., John Eric Bobo, Michael Edward Bobo and Matt Bobo. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
