He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Turner and Glenna Rose Hendrix Turner; his wife Meda Patricia Turner (Dunn); and his brothers, Thomas Turner and Gerald Turner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Violet Hayes (Roy) of Pekin and Sherry Wright (Jeff) of Salem; his brother Lige Turner Jr. of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Tony Hayes (Cynthia), Sheena Becker (Randy), Ryan Hayes, Colter Wright (Jasmine) and Tessa Lothery (Andrew). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
