He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sloan and Edith Sloan (DeLawter); his wife Linda Lou Jackson; his daughter-in-law Lorei Sloan; and his siblings, Donald Sloan and Betty Marriott.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Sloan (Jean), Mark Sloan and Kelly Brown (Jim). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
