He is survived by: his daughters, Cinda Scott and Robin Norris; his grandchildren, Joe Scott, Terry Scott, Valerie, Michael, Christy, Becky, Ryan, Sarah, Amy, Josie, Joe Bob, Ashley and Jon Tom; his brothers-in-law, Harold Cantrell and Harmon Cantrell; his nephew Donnie Scott; and his pet Chica. He is also survived by 32 great grandchildren; and 7 great- great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013).
