He is survived by: his wife Fairy Ann Anderson; his children, James D. Anderson (Tracy) and Shelli Lutton (Brady); his stepdaughters, Tracey Fonacier (Jon) and Trisha Hover-Catron; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Toby Lutton, Joshua, Jonah, Ethan Anderson, Miranda Powell, Riece Hover, Jordan Catron, Adam and Sophia Fonacier; his nieces and nephews, Lori Swan, Bruce Swan, John Swan, Kathi Anderson and Kevin Anderson; and his pets, Zeke and Uma.
