He was predeceased by: his daughter Monica Tharp. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Leonard and Betty Lou Gibson (Strunk); his children, Kylie Gibson (Kamryn Smith), Khaidyn Gibson and Greyson Gibson; his granddaughter Valerie Smith; and his siblings, Laura Gibson (Tim Griffith) and Joe Gibson (Audrey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
