She was predeceased by: her parents, Harshel C. Vaughn and Mary Alice Vaughn (Bowman); and her son Rex Arnold Allen. She is survived by: her husband Austin William McCallister; her sons, Phillip Allen (Crystal) and Robert Allen; her stepchildren, Donna Whetsel, Jo Ann Turner (Charlie) and Jay McCallister (Tish); her grandsons, Jonathan Allen, Blaine Allen and Quinton Allen; her stepgrandchildren, Jamie Oster (Brad), Greg Turner, Jessica Hungate (Joel) of Tim Turner, J. T. and Mark McCallister (Katie); and her sister Connie Brown (Art). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana State Fair Foundation, Pioneer Village or the Pendleton First United Methodist Church.
