He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shook and Mamie Shook; his wife Oletia "Gay" Shook; his daughter Lori Shook; and his siblings, Etha Mosley, Geneva Morrison, Bobbie Shook, Reab Shook and Bufford Shook.
He is survived by: his sons, Barry Shook of Anderson and Douglas Shook (Alison) of Moline, IL; his grandson Scott Shook (Angie) of Middletown, IN; his sons, Ethan Shook (Kryn) of Ball Ground, GA and Lauren Shook of Tulsa, OK.; his great grandchildren, Myles, Penelope, Charlotte, Griffin and Rowan; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda and Kenneth Black. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
