Betty Richardson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 15, 2025, at the age of 86, Betty Richardson of Peru, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen H. Alspach and Lois Alspach; her husband James Richardson; her partner Porter Hayes; her grandson Chandler Richardson; and her siblings, Allene Shropshire, Robert Alspach and Bernie Dillers (Alice).

She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Richardson (Lisa), Jon Richardson and Jay Richardson (Heather); her sister Sue Miller; her grandchildren, Matt, Michael, Jaelin, Lani, Liz and Alex; her great grandchildren, Jarrett, Summer, Autumn, Mason, Chloe, Dylan, Logan, Sean, David and Ellie; her extended family, Jon Hayes (Janet) and Paul Hayes of Raschell, DJ.; and her close friend Teri Clark (Chuck).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Scratching Post Cat Rescue.
