With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Billy Joe Tyler of Peru, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Billy left this world on April 21, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Billy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Tyler, Sr. and Helen Tyler (Glassburn); and his brother John "John Boy" Tyler, Jr.. He is survived by : his daughter Cheryl Berends (Dustin Faunce); and his grandchildren, Brendan Alfrey and Carsyn Berends. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the McClain Funeral Home (3500 IN-16, Denver, IN 46926). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with final expenses.
