He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tyler, Sr. and Helen Tyler (Glassburn); and his brother John "John Boy" Tyler, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Berends (Dustin Faunce); and his grandchildren, Brendan Alfrey and Carsyn Berends. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
