He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Padrick and Josephine Padrick (Bush); and his half-brother James Padrick. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Padrick of Peru; his daughter Michelle Maxwell (David) of Peru; his grandchildren, Emily Hardesty (Dustin) of Bedford, Erica Reddick of Clarksville, Karen Reese (Nelson) of Peru and Justin Maxwell (Bailley) of Kokomo; his great grandchildren, Avery Maxwell of Kokomo, Riley Maxwell of Kokomo, Dallas Reese of Peru and Memphis Reese of Peru; and his sister Annette Wildman of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
