Cheryl Whittenberger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Whittenberger of Peru, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Conklin and Dorothy Bakehorn; her husband Gene Whittenberger; her daughter Tina Adkins; and her siblings, Ronald Conklin, Ray Bakehorn, Donald Bakehorn, Dale Bakehorn, Harriet Cooper and Nancy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dennis Conklin, Greg Conklin, Basil Bakehorn, Mike Bakehorn and Vicki Gilsinger (Bakehorn); and her grandchildren, Travis Adkins, Jane Marcum, Sue Phillips, Cheryl Mallow and Barb Oaks.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
