The memory of Della K. Wampner of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Runyan; her former husband Ronald L. Wampner; her mother Wilma D. Runyan (Emery); her son Dennis McNew; and her siblings, Debbie Childs, Alan Runyan and Robin Runyan.
She is survived by: her husband Safeway Taxi; her children, Patricia Schaaf (James) of Peru and Shawn McNew (Amanda); her stepchildren, Denay Wandersee (Walt), Heath Wampner and Ronald Wampner, Jr. of Marion; and her siblings, Cindy Whitman (Bret) of Elwood, Neena R. Milligan of Anderson, Roger Runyan (Kathy) of Frankton, Chris Runyan of Elwood, Gary Runyan of Las Vegas, NV and Rick Davis (Ruth) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM and at 2:30 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952).
