With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Day of Peru, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis Day to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Day and Loretta Shain Day; and his daughters, Carolyn Fulmis and Sharon Bosley. He is survived by: his wife Julia McRorie; his son Jaune Day of Royal Center; his brother Harold Day of Clarksville, IN; his grandchildren, Jalyn Day, Kaley Day, Michael Bishop, Carolyn Burkmire and Morgan Peterson; and his great grandchildren, Ashlynn Peterson, Rylan Peterson, Harlyn Peterson and Paul Luke Semon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home (84 W Main St, Peru, IN 46970). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands.
