Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Hungerford and Sophie Bien Hungerford; and his sisters, Virginia Witzky (Terry) and Hope H. Grant. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
