He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Smith and Ruby Chamberlain Smith; his wife Beverly Premer; and his brother Donald Smith. He is survived by : his children, Anthony Smith (Kim) of Delphi, IN, Andrew Smith of Macy, IN and Jennifer White (Chad) of Terre Haute, IN; his grandchildren, Jessa Pittman (Kyle), Hevin Smith (Paul Wieland), Blaize Smith, Josh White (Elizabeth), Issacc White of Sarah White, A. J and Joe Smith (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Maddox Pittman, Zhane Pittman, Alex Smith, Xylon Smith, Nevaeh Smith and Xavier Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru, IN to the Oakdale Baptist Church.
