With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Bowman of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Townsend and Hazel Arnold (Mooney); her husband Floyd "Peachy" Bowman; her daughters, Cynthia Jo Stevens and Karen Sue Reffitt; and her brother Toby Wayne Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Bowman of Peru and Steve Bowman (Becky) of Wabash; her grandchildren, Jackie Nelson (Jeff), LeAnn Bellemy (Tom), Mike Stevens, Stephanie Reynolds (Mark), Jeff Stevens, Brandon Reffitt, Stevie Fosnaugh (Brian) and Libby Corn; and her sister Judy Ewer of Peru. She is also survived by 13 great- grandchildren, 14 great- great- grandchildren.
