It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack O. Young (Peru, Indiana), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack O. Young to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jack may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Young and Vera Lilly Young; his wife Nancy Patricia Young; and his sister Nancy Jo Young. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Young (Donna) of Clayton and Gary Young of Yukon; and also David Young (Kyra) of Lafayette, Indiana.. He is also survived by 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 1 great grandson and 6 great granddaughters, 5 nieces, 3 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home (105 W 3rd St, Peru, IN 46970). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice.
