He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Stockdale and Iris Stockdale (Hendricks); and his brother Keith Stockdale. He is survived by: his wife Linda Chou; and his children, James H. Stockdale of St. Petersburg Beach, FL, William K. Stockdale of Fairfax, VA and Sherrie Johnson of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mexico Church of the Brethren.
