He is survived by: his children, Kelly Haupert and Blain Richardson (Jenny); his grandchildren, Sarah Correll (Rian Browne), Theresa "Abby" Slabaugh (Jared Slabaugh), Alexa "Holly" Richardson and James "Dave" Richardson; his great grandchild Jaxon "JJ" Slabaugh; his sisters-in-law, Judith Richardson, Kay Richardson and Patricia Richardson; and his Basset Hound Cecil.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Miami County 4-H Fair Board in John's memory.
