He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus James and Dian Wagner (Hoeppner); his brother Dan Kaufman; and his father-in-law Walter Hawley. He is survived by: his wife Suzy (Hawley); his son Lane Wagner of Peru; and his siblings, Jim Kaufman (Linda) of Peru, Steve Wagner (Lisa) of Peru, Kris Thiel (Rob) of Rensselaer and Bridget Butler (Scott) of Peru. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
