She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Higgins Jr. and Ellen M. Higgins (Palmer). She is survived by: her children, Tye Higgins of Peru, Amanda Cook of Kokomo and James Cook Jr. of Peru; her boyfriend Doug Kloenne of Peru; her granddaughter Violet Rose Cook of Kokomo; and her brothers, Kevin Higgins of Mount Vernon and Stanley Higgins of Peru.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (53 W Main St, Peru, IN 46970). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
