With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Lea (Trexler) Kline of Peru, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Lea (Trexler) Kline to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Trexler and Mary Elizabeth Trexler (Tucker); her spouse Jerry Leroy Kline; her siblings, Jim Trexler, Kim Trexler and Carole Trexler; and her brother-in-law Larry Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle L. Burns (Brian) and Jerry A. "Tony" Kline (Gretchen); her grandchildren, Jared Wilkinson (Kayla), Allison Michel (Skyler) and Keagan Kline; her great grandchildren, Emily, Aubri, Laney Wilkinson and Luke Wilkinson; her siblings, Sandy Howard, Pam Shrock (Larry), Maribeth Wides and Todd Trexler; and her siblings-in-law, Tana Haynes (Larry) and Jimmy Kline (Marsha). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McClain Funeral Home (3500 IN-16, Denver, IN 46926). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church of Mexico for their youth program or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
